Microsoft Visio 2007 is fun - it includes quick ways to connect flowchart shapes and a much-improved way to link diagrams to data sources. Specific changes include:

Concise diagram catergories	Visio 2007 has a more concise list of diagram categories making it easier to choose exactly the diagram type you need.
Automatically connect shapes	Tired of clicking and dragging connectors between flowchart shapes? Visio 2007 includes an Autoconnect feature - just drop one shape near to another to connect them.
Themes	Themes provide a quick way to format an entire diagram. Because themes are present in several Office 2007 applications your diagrams will be sconsistent with your Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Data graphics	Custom Properties have been replaced with Shape Data. Visio 2007 includes Data Graphics to represent data graphically as part of a diagram.
Linking to data sources	Linking to external data sources is significantly easier in Visio 2007 - just drag and drop from a table onto the shape you want to link to.
