Differences for versions: Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic 2005
These pages summarise the changes introduced in different versions of Visual Basic, as they affect Wise Owl training courses.
VB.NET was the first incarnation of the famous VB language for the .NET framework. The latest version is called Visual Basic 2005 - a more sensible name, in our opinion, as the language can be used to create any application.
We currently train in Visual Basic 2005, although you can choose to use a different version.
