PowerPoint 2007 training - what's new for PowerPoint 2007

Although initially PowerPoint 2007 looks completely different, it is actually one of the least-changed Office products. The new drawing and graphic effects are nice, as is the ability to have multiple slide masters. Specific changes include:

Change	Details
New user interface	PowerPoint 2007 looks completely different, with the Microsoft ribbon making menu options easier to find (after an initial transition period).
Better graphics	You can now apply far more effects to drawings, pictures and charts.
SmartArt	The method for adding organisation charts, diagrams, etc has been hugely improved.
More slide masters	You can now create multiple slide masters for different parts of a presentation. In the diagram below, each of the images shown is a separate slide master.
Better charting	The PowerPoint charting application has been improved - the diagram below shows what you now see when you create a new chart.
Recording macros	A rare instance of a feature being removed - this is no longer possible (the diagram below shows where it should be).
