Microsoft Project Standard XP has a new and improved Project Guide which provides continous assistance. You can also save multiple baselines and have more control over scheduling. Specific changes include:

Change	Details
Resource filtering	In the Assign Resources dialog box you can search and filter for appropriate resources.
Multiple baselines	Save up to eleven baselines and compare them in Multiple Baselines Gantt view.
Timescales	Display three timescales in the Gantt Chart and other graph and usage views.
Project guide	Wizard-like instructions and controls are always at hand in the left pane to help you build a new project, manage tasks and resources, specify and change working time, track your project, and report project information.
