This Microsoft Word TABLES - BASIC exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl INTRODUCTION TO WORD course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Creating Tables - Treatments Price List

1) On a new document type in the title.  Create a new table and type in the text in each cell as it appears below:

2) Make the following changes to your table:
  • Change the column widths
  • Centre the table between the margins
  • Centre align the Price column
  • Centre align the Discount column
  • Add shading to the titles
3) Your table should now look something like this:

4) Save the document with the name:        Pampered Pets Treatment Prices
5) Print your table (if possible) and then close the file.
