This Microsoft Word WORD BASICS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl INTRODUCTION TO WORD course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Editing existing text - altering questions staff memo

1)	Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-686.zip
2)	Open the file called:        Pampered Pets questions staff memo.doc
3)	Edit the text so that it reads as follows:
	There is a list of changes below. The changes here are highlighted in bold - you do not need to do this!
4)	Here's a list of the changes to help you: Insert the extra text at the top:   Booking-in Delete the words:   drug/drink Insert an extra question:   Have they had any other treatments in the last 6 months? Delete the words:  as well as their owners
Don't forget you can select any amount of text and then overtype on top of it without having to delete it first.
5)	Re-save the file with the same name.
