This Microsoft Word PAGE LAYOUTS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ADVANCED WORD course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Page Layout - Headers and Footers - Wise Owl Holidays

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-762.zip
2) Open the file called:          Wise Owl Holidays.doc
3) Change the margins to:  Top: 2.3cm;  Btm: 2.3cm;  Left: 2.75cm;  Right:  2.75cm.
4) Insert the text:        © Wise Owl Holidays                at the top left of the header.
5) Insert the text:        American Holidays            at the top right of the header and add a bottom border line.
6) Insert the ClipArt American flag and move it to the far right of the header (you will need to alter the right tab position) as shown below:

7) Insert a footer that displays page numbering at the bottom right of every page (don't forget you may need to change the tab settings because you have altered the page margins).
8) Add a top border line to the footer as shown below:

9) Save the document with the new name:        Wise Owl Hols with Header and Footer
10) Print the document (if possible) and then close it.
