This Microsoft Visual Studio BASIC WEB CONTROLS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ASP.NET 2.0 USING C# course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
Exercise: Dating agency application form - simple web controls
A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!
| 1) | Create a new form called frmDatingAgency.aspx. This will be a simple form allowing people to join your dating agency (!). |
| 2) | Create the following form, using textbox web server controls: |
Your potential members can enter their name and age in text boxes

| 3) | Now get the button to work, so that when a user clicks on it they see the following message: |
A hidden panel then displays the member's choices

| 4) | If you have the time and energy, amend your form so that if you leave your name blank and click on the JOIN button, you see the following previously hidden error message: |
If you want to reproduce this beautiful colour exactly, it is chartreuse!
