This Microsoft Visual Basic SELECTING CELLS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl EXCEL 2007 VISUAL BASIC course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Battleships - selecting variety of ranges absolutely

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-898.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Welcome to the Wise Owl version of battleships!  First write a macro which selects the submarine in cell J10 shown below by its cell reference (your macro will have a single line).
3) Now write a separate macro to select the aircraft-carrier shown below:

4) Finally, write a macro to select the battleship using its range name Battleship:

5) Save your file as Battleships answer.xlsm, then close it down.
