Exercise: Linking Word to Excel to analyse word count

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-418.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) You should find that this document already contains a macro:

3) Amend your macro so that it loops over all the words in this story, either:
  • adding the word to an Excel spreadsheet if not already found; or
  • increasing the word count in Excel if this word has already been added.
4) Your final output should look like this:

5) Save this document with the same name, then close it down.
