Finding out your current software version

If you're not sure which particular software version you are using, try choosing Help / About ... from the main menu. For example, in Microsoft Access 2003 this option looks like this:

Alternatively, if you have the symbol shown below at the top left corner of your screen, you are almost certainly using Office 2007:

Make sure that you don't confuse your operating system with your programmes. For example, you may be working on a Windows 2003 computer, but using Microsoft Office 2007, or using Windows Vista to run Office 2003.
