This Microsoft Software LAYERS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ADVANCED MICROSOFT VISIO course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
Exercise: Office Building - Viewing Layers
| 1) | Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-489.zip |
| 2) | Open the file Building Layers.vsd |
| 3) | The diagram contains four layers; at the moment you can only see one. |
| 4) | From the menu choose: View Layer Properties... and choose to make the Ground Floor layer visible. |
Place a tick next to this layer and click OK.

| 5) | Next, view the Layer Properties again and choose to make the Ground Floor layer invisible and the 1st Floor layer visible. |
| 6) | Finally, choose to make the 1st Floor layer invisible and the 2nd Floor layer visible. |
| 7) | Make sure you are comfortable with viewing different layers then close the file. |
