This Microsoft Publisher CREATING PUBLICATIONS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl MICROSOFT PUBLISHER course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Missing Poster - Publisher Design Template

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-619.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Create a new publication based on a Quick Publication template.

3) Use the task pane to change the layout so that the picture appears in the middle of the page.

4) Change the title text to read as shown in the diagram below:
Exercise screen-shot 1181 The text should shrink automatically to fit the text box.
5) Replace the default picture with the one you find in the folder shown in the pink box at the top of the exercise.

6) Replace the text in the bottom text box to match that shown in the diagram below:
Exercise screen-shot 1183 Press enter to go onto a new line in the text box.
7) Use the task pane to change the design of your publication.

8) Save your file with the name GoneMissing and then close it down.
