| 1) | Create a new project scheduled to start today. |
| 2) | Create the following task: |
A simple task with a duration of 10 days

| 3) | Display the Task Information dialog box and check that the task type is set to Fixed Units. |
Double-click the task to display task information - task type is on the advanced tab
|

| 4) | Switch to the resource sheet and create the following work resource: |
Make sure to set the Max Units to 200%
|
|
| 5) | Switch back to the Gantt Chart and assign the resource to the task @ 100%. |
| 6) | Increase the assignment to 200% and notice the change in duration. |
| 7) | Experiment changing resource assignments and durations, noting how Project 'balances' the formula. |
| 8) | Close the file without saving changes. |
