This Microsoft Project PROJECT BASICS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl MICROSOFT PROJECT course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Noah Linking - Link Simple Tasks and Modify the Gantt Chart

1)	Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-275.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2)	Open the project file NoahLinking.mpp, located in the folder shown above.
3)	Create the following links: Build boat => Load supplies Build boat => Load animals Build boat => Load family Collect animals A-M => Load animals Collect animals N-Z => Load animals Load supplies => Float around Load animals => Float around Load family => Float around
If you don't like creating links on the Gantt Chart you can use the Ctrl key in conjunction with the mouse to select tasks that aren't next to each other in the table.
4)	Zoom out so that the Gantt Chart is easily visible.
5)	Save the updated file as NoahLinked.mpp and close it down.
