This Microsoft Project PROJECT BASICS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl MICROSOFT PROJECT course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Casserole - enter tasks

1)	Create a new project file scheduled from a start date.
2)	Switch to Gantt Chart view and change the table view to Entry if necessary.
3)	Enter the following tasks and durations: Make a casserole (15 minutes) Pre-heat oven (5 minutes) Prepare meat (5 minutes) Prepare veg (5 minutes) Heat pan (5 minutes) Brown meat (5 minutes) Fry veg (5 minutes) Add stock and bring to a simmer (5 minutes) Cook in oven (45 minutes)
To enter durations as minutes use the format 15m
4)	Change the Gantt chart timescale or zoom in so that the chart is easily viewable.
5)	Save the file with the name Casserole.mpp and close it down.
