This Microsoft Project 2007 ADVANCED TASKS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl MICROSOFT PROJECT 2007 course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Dinner Party - Task Types

1)	Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-886.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2)	Open the file in the folder shown above.
3)	Before making some resource assignments assign the correct Task Type and decide if the task is Effort Driven.
It may be helpful to add in the Type and Effort Driven fields to the entry table for visibility.
4)	Use the Assign Resource dialog box to make the following assignments: Decide on menu => Congenial Host & Hostess with the mostest Create the shopping list => Hostess with the mostest Do the shopping => Congenial Host Prepare ingredients => Hostess with the mostest Cook main course => Congenial Host Arrange starters on plate => Congenial Host Lay table => Congenial Host Serve food => Hostess with the mostest Enjoy => Congenial Host, Hostess with the mostest & Guests (4)
5)	Time is running short so we only have 10 minutes to lay the table, how many people do we need to achieve this?
6)	Your finished project plan should look similar to the below:
	Change the zoom levels to the review the plan in more detail
7)	Save the updated file as Planned Dinner Party and close it down.
