Exercise: Advanced Tables - Calculations

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-752.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Open the file called:        First Table Calculations.doc
3) In the first table, use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the totals at the bottom of both columns as shown below:

4) Change the No. of Barbie dolls sold to 32000 and check that the total updates when you press F9.
5) Change the No. of Baby Annabel dolls returned to 50 and check that the total updates when you press F9 again.
6) In the second table, use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the total at the bottom of the Price column as shown below:

7) Change the CD Player price to 59.99 and check that the total updates when you press F9.
8) Use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the VAT Payable in the last column (Price * 17.5%).
9) Use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the total VAT Payable at the bottom of the last column
10) Change the Laptop PC price to 499.99 and check that the VAT and totals update when you press F9.
11) Re-save the document with the same name and then close it.
