Exercise: Advanced Tables - Calculations

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-751.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Open the file called:        Table Calculations.doc
3) In the first table, use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the totals at the bottom of all the columns as shown below:

4) Change the Forecast CD sales for Frank Sinatra for the North Region to 1200 and check that the total updates when you press F9.
5) Change the Actual CD sales for Abba for the South Region to 2500 and check that the total updates when you press F9 again.
6) In the second table, use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the totals at the bottom of the Wages and Rent columns as shown below:

7) Use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the remainders in the last column (Wages - Rent).
8) Use the table menu to insert a formula that will calculate the total remainder at the bottom of the last column
9) Change the rent for Feb to 500 and check that the remainder and total update when you press F9.
10) Re-save the document with the same name and then close it.
