Exercise: Cheque list - various complicated formats

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-155.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Apply number formatting (using the notes shown below) to make the worksheet look like this:

3) Here is how to achieve this:
  • Apply number formatting to column A to add the word bank to the right of each cell
  • Apply number formatting to columns C:E to scale all the numbers by 1,000 and add the letter k to each cell
  • Use number formatting to hide all of the cells in column F
4) Now save your file as Advanced number formats, and close it down.
