Exercise: Formatting cheque amounts differently

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-153.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Apply conditional formatting to the cheque amounts so that:
  • Any amounts under £50,000 appear with a light red background
  • Any amounts between £50,000 and £100,000 appear with a middling red background
  • Any amounts more than £100,000 appear with a dark red background
3) When you have finished, the resulting worksheet should look something like this:

4) Close your workbook without saving any changes.

On all Wise Owl scheduled courses delegates can take away these model answers (together with their own efforts!) on a free USB stick.
