This Microsoft Office ADVANCED CHARTS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ADVANCED EXCEL course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Food poisoning - combination chart

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-196.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Create a basic column chart comparing food poisoning data.
3) Swap the axes round, so that you are comparing regions across disease strains:

4) Alter the chart so that the TOTAL and AVERAGE data is charted as easier to see:

5) Now chart the total against a separate axis:

6) Save this file as Dodgy data.xls, and close it down.
