1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-167.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Select the cells shown below:

3) From the menu select   Insert   Name   Create...   to create three range names:

4) Type in hours spent for each activity (making sure that your numbers sum to 24!), and create and copy down a formula to give the total number of calories expended per activity using range names only:

5) Save this as Range names are great.xls, and close it down.
