This Microsoft Excel ADVANCED FORMATTING exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl EXCEL BUSINESS MODELLING course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Adding validation, etc to star model

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-663.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Open the file in the above folder.
3) Apply validation to the sex, drugs and rock and roll input figures so that when you click on the cell, the following message appears:

4) You have been appointed as the new manager for your celebrity - amend your validation for the sex, drugs and rock and roll figures so that any new figures input can not exceed £5,000:

5) Apply outlining so that your Inputs sheet looks like this initially:

6) Save your model with the same name, then close it down.
