This Microsoft Excel 2007 MESSAGES AND VARIABLES exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl EXCEL 2007 VISUAL BASIC course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Dinosaur hunting - FIND combined with InputBox

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1)	Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-905.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2)	Open the workbook in the above folder - with a bit of luck you're now looking at a list of dinosaurs.
3)	Write a macro which displays the following input box:
	Create a varialbe, then use InputBox to set its value
4)	Extend your macro so that it displays the height of the dinosaur you choose.  For example, if you enter Troodon in the input box above, you would see:
	The height is in the cell offset 6 columns to the right of the dinosaur name
5)	Save this as Hunting dinosaurs.xlsm, then close it down.
