| 1) | Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-1039.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it). |
| 2) | Create a new worksheet with a list of possible month choices. Give the block of cells a range name. |
Here we have used the name MONTHS

| 3) | Apply validation to cell B2 so that when you click on the cell you see and input message telling you what you can do: |

| 4) | Extend the validation so that when a user chooses a month that doesn't exist, they see this message: |
This should have been obvious anyway!

| 5) | Save the file with the same name, and then close it down. |
