This Microsoft ASP.NET THEMES AND SKINS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ASP.NET 2.0 USING VB course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Competition form - themes and skins

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1)	Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-779.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2)	Open the form called frmCompetition.aspx - it should look like this:
	Everything on this form looks a bit dull
3)	Create a theme within your web site called Competition, and apply it to your page.
4)	Within this theme, create a skin file containing two skins: A skin to make ALL buttons appear in a different colour A skin called JazzyTextBox which you can apply to selected text boxes to make them coloured
5)	Apply your JazzyTextBox skin to the name and newspaper text boxes - your final form should look this this:
	Skins with no names are automatically applied; named skins are applied only when you set the SkinId property of the relevant control
6)	Save any open files and close them down.
