This Microsoft Access ADVANCED QUERIES exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl BASIC QUERYING IN ACCESS course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Calculating age of pets

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-536.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Create an expression query called expressionOwnersAgeInYears that lists the owner's name, owner's DOB and the age of the owner in years:

Training exercise hint Use the DATE() or NOW() functions to return the current date.
3) Create an expression query called expressionAgeDifference that lists the owner's name, their pet's name and the age difference between them in days.

4) Close any queries you have created.
