Exercise: Grouped Pets Report

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-357.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Create a report based on the Pet table using the Report Wizard as follows:
  • Fields to include - PetName, Gender, PetDOB, VetBills
  • Grouping - Gender
  • Sorting - PetName
  • Summary - Average VetBills
  • Layout - Landscape, Align Left 1
  • Style - Corporate
  • Title - Average Pet Costs by Gender
3) Your report should resemble the example below:

4) Close the report and save it with the name Average Cost By Gender.
