Exercise: Import and Append Owners

A full answer to this exercise is provided as part of the training course!

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-344.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Open the file called Owners.xls.
3) Select the named range Owners and view the data.
4) Close the spreadsheet and return to your database.
5) Import the range Owners from the spreadsheet into a new table called Imported Owners.
Training exercise hint Do NOT choose a key field when importing.
6) Create an append query to transfer the data from the newly imported table to the Owner table.  Save the query as appendImportedOwners.
7) Run the query and check the new records have been appended.
8) Delete the Imported Owners table.
