This Microsoft Access 2007 CASE STUDIES exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl ACCESS 2007 VISUAL BASIC course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Add navigation buttons to a form

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-963.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) Create a module called modNavigationCode to contain the following 4 functions:
  • GotoFirst/GotoLast - go to the first or last record
  • GotoPrevious/GotoNext - go to the previous or next record
3) Open the form called frmDirector.   Add buttons and assign your functions to them so that they look and work like this:

4) Save and close your module and form!
