Microsoft Training Courseware - Technical Notes

Please ensure that you have the right software before licensing our courseware. You will need:

Microsoft Word 97 or above	All of our courseware is written in Word 2003, but Word 97, 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003 file formats are compatible. Word outline numbering is unreliable (to put it mildly), so our manual compilation system uses paragraph styles to generate its own chapter and section numbering. We also make heavy use of pre-written Word macros, which will be supplied to you as part of your purchase.
Microsoft Access 2000 or above	Our manual compilation system uses an Access 2003 database to allow you to compile and print manuals, an example screen of which is shown here:
TechSmith's SnagIt screen capture utility	While not essential, this is strongly recommended if you want to make any changes to courseware - the cost is about 25 pounds per license.
