SQL Server training - Report Builder

Report Builder Training

Report Builder (2 days)

£625 + VAT for most venues (£750 + VAT for London)

Report Builder is almost identical to Reporting Services (the difference is that Report Builder allows you to create reports without having to download or learn Visual Studio). If you're not sure of the differences, speak to us and we can talk you through which application you should be using ( or have a look here).

This two-day course explains how to create reports in Report Builder: creating tables, lists and matrices, formatting reports so that they look beautiful and adding fancy devices like indicators and gauges!

There is no difference that we know of between Report Builder 3.0 and Report Builder for SQL Server 2012 (this course teaches either - or both).

Sample customer feedback

"Course was brilliant and very helpful trainer. Was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you."

Marcio Franco (Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea)

"Excellent course with extremely well written guidance; venue clean and facilities great."

AJ Perkins (WCVA)

"I did very much enjoy the course. The pace was good and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I was slightly worried beforehand that I may be in the minority and there would be many things that I wouldn’t understand, but the group meant that this wasn’t a problem. I now need to have time to practice what I’ve learnt! Lunch in a restaurant was good too, it made a good break in the day to clear the mind for the afternoon session. Many thanks for all your help. I will certainly bear you in mind for any further training we may need. "

Ginny Lefebvre (Aiglon College)

"Enjoyed this course, good pace and exercises were fun."

Alexandra Russell (Pearson)

"We had an excellent tutor; we covered a lot of material and he paced it just right."

Chris Murphy (Camping and Caravan Club)

There are lots more where these came from (or just refresh this page to change the quotes shown).

There are no particular pre-requisites for this course, although a passing knowledge of how relational databases are formed will help. In particular, no knowledge of SQL is needed.
